Material Advantages

Made of high‑quality medical‑grade nickel‑titanium alloy, these hand‑use Protaper files have outstanding superelasticity, good toughness and deformation resistance. Some models use CM‑wire or heat‑activated technology for better flexibility, ideal for mildly curved root canals. Compared with stainless‑steel hand files, they show higher flexibility, reducing risks of ledges, canal transportation and perforation during preparation. With strong fatigue resistance and low fracture rate, they effectively lower clinical operational risks and ensure safer root canal treatment.

Model Function Division

SX (Pioneer File)：19mm short length with no color ring. It is specially used for short posterior root canals to establish coronal patency and quickly open the canal orifice.
S1 (Purple ring)：Performs preliminary shaping on the coronal and middle segments of root canals, forming a standard “wide coronally, narrow apically” canal morphology.
S2 (White ring)：Finely trims the middle canal segment, optimizing the passage for apical finishing files and avoiding ledges or canal transportation.
F1 (Yellow ring)：Specially designed for apical preparation and final finishing of fine and narrow root canals.
F2 (Red ring)：The final finishing file for standard root canals, creating an ideal canal shape for root canal obturation.
F3 (Blue ring)：Suitable for large root canals and canals with apical resorption. It completes large-diameter apical finishing for special and complex clinical cases.

Clinical use

Indications: Routine anterior and posterior root‑canal preparation, mildly curved canals, negotiation and shaping of narrow canals.

Special applications: Equipment‑free settings, emergency treatment, fine retreatment, and beginner training.
Not recommended for: Severely curved canals (>30°), heavily calcified canals, and severely obstructed retreatment cases (rotary or heat‑activated files are preferred).
