Peeso Reamers P Drill is dedicated to post space preparation after root canal therapy and post-core restoration. It perfectly complements Gates Glidden G drills: long working edge of P drill suits deep post preparation, while G drill is for root canal coronal flaring. Supplied non-sterile, it features a non-cutting safety tip, predetermined shank breaking point and color ring coding for fast size sorting. Autoclavable up to 200°C, offered in full sizes #1–#6 with 28mm & 32mm lengths. We support bulk wholesale and OEM customization.
Design Features of Peeso Reamers
Material: Constructed from imported medical-grade stainless steel, offering outstanding corrosion resistance, stable hardness, and excellent toughness.
Tip: Rounded non-cutting safety tip effectively prevents ledging, canal transportation, and root perforation.
Cutting flutes: Extended blades with a narrowed neck design provide improved flexibility and prevent excessive cutting damage to the root canal wall.
Safety structure: Predetermined fracture point located near the shank for easier retrieval in case of accidental breakage.
Identification: Color-coded rings on the shank distinguish different sizes, complying with ISO international standards for quick identification.
Functions of Peeso Reamers

- Post space preparation prior to fiber post or cast post restoration
- Root canal retreatment: removal of gutta-percha, root canal sealer, and other filling materials from the coronal and middle root canal segments
Clinical Application of Peeso reamers
Peeso reamers are mainly used for flaring the coronal portion of root canals, post space preparation, and removing obturation materials in the middle and upper segments of root canals during retreatment.
Use at a low speed of 800–1000 rpm. Select matching sizes according to the post diameter and use sequential filing with a gentle pulling motion from small to large sizes to establish a straight-line root canal access.
Due to its long cutting shank, strict axial alignment must be maintained during operation to avoid excessive unilateral cutting and perforation. Replace the instrument immediately if deformation occurs.
