Dental Endodontic NiTi H-Files Advanced Root Canal Preparation Instruments
It is mainly used for root canal wall finishing, removal of calcified tissues, extraction of intracanal foreign bodies and auxiliary finishing and debridement. Rotation is strictly forbidden; only vertical up-and-down filing is permitted, otherwise file fracture may easily occur. It is not suitable for initial canal negotiation, but applied to mid-upper root canal enlargement, final canal shaping and cleaning of curved apical segments.
Clinical operation: Insert the file to a position 2–3 mm away from the working length, then perform passive pulling motion. When meeting resistance, retreat 1 mm before gentle cutting by pulling upward. Repeat 3 to 5 times, then withdraw the file for irrigation and cleaning.

Clinical Use of NiTi H-File
The NiTi H-file is generally not used as an initial patency instrument. Instead, it is indicated for mid-coronal straightening, final shaping, and final cleaning of curved apical segments.
Insert the H-file to a position approximately 2–3 mm short of the working length. Perform a passive pull motion — gently advance the file until resistance is felt, then withdraw 1 mm, followed by a light upward cutting stroke. Repeat this process for 3–5 pull strokes, then withdraw the file and irrigate/brush clean.
