Material & Design
Constructed from stainless steel with high rigidity and excellent bending resistance. It delivers stable vertical force in straight or mildly curved root canals with clear tactile feedback.
The flat tip compacts softened gutta-percha toward the apex. Featuring a round, smooth thread-free body without cutting edges. Color or numerically coded handles simplify size identification; assorted kits are offered. Its tapered working end matches standard root canal tapers.
Key Advantages
1. Direct vertical compaction for reliable obturation
High‑rigidity stainless steel ensures force transmission to the apex, suitable for straight and slightly curved canals.
2. Excellent cost‑effectiveness
More economical than NiTi pluggers, ideal for routine procedures and training.
3. High mechanical strength & durability
Resistant to bending and deformation, autoclavable for repeated use.
4. Clear tactile feedback – beginner-friendly
Operators can easily perceive the degree of compaction, excellent for learning vertical condensation techniques.
5. Smooth surface preserves canal anatomy
Fine-polished, thread-free and non-cutting; prevents damage to root canal walls.
Clinical Application
This instrument is intended for vertical obturation of straight to mildly curved root canals (≤20°). By applying steady vertical pressure, it compacts softened gutta-percha toward the apex, effectively eliminating filling voids and achieving a hermetic seal. It can also be used in combination with spreaders.
