Medical stainless steel hand H-files, featuring round marked handles and 2% ISO taper. Sharp cutting edges and high rigidity, yet low toughness makes them prone to fracture. As auxiliary instruments for root canal finishing, they trim canal walls and remove calcifications and foreign bodies. Suitable only for cleaning the lower segment of straight root canals; use with caution on curved canals. Operate with vertical push-and-pull motions exclusively — rotation is strictly prohibited. Retract immediately when feeling resistance and clear debris in time. Broken files are hard to retrieve, so please use with care.

Clinical practice

Insert the H-file approximately 2-3 mm short of the working length. Use passive push-and-pull motions — probe downward gently. When resistance is encountered, retract 1 mm immediately, then pull upward slowly to complete cutting. Repeat 3 to 5 times. After withdrawal, promptly irrigate the root canal and remove debris from the file to prevent canal blockage.

Note:

The H-file delivers strong cutting force but no shape memory. Once fractured, it cannot be retrieved. Rotation is strictly prohibited at all times.
