Hand used nickel titanium root canal file is a nickel titanium alloy instrument used for manually preparing root canals in oral root canal treatment. Working principle and operating points

Working principle:

Manual rotation+pulling, cutting root canal wall infected dentin, removing debris, shaping root canal and maintaining original anatomical orientation.

Operation points:

1.Crown root preparation: Prepare the crown first, then delve deeper into the root tip to reduce root tip blockage and infection.

2.Balance force method: small angle rotation (≤ 90 °)+light lifting to avoid violence and excessive rotation, reducing the risk of needle breakage.

3.Whole process flushing: alternating flushing with sodium hypochlorite and EDTA, lubricating, disinfecting, and dissolving debris.

4.Limited use: Nickel titanium instruments have a fatigue life and are generally replaced after 5-10 cycles to prevent breakage.
