Orthodontic nickel titanium tension spring, also known as nickel titanium traction spring or closure tension spring, is made of medical nickel titanium alloy, partially made of copper nickel titanium material. It has shape memory, super elasticity, sustained light force, and anti fatigue characteristics, and is a commonly used consumable material for orthodontic clinical closure of gaps and traction of displaced teeth.
Different models represent different levels of force .It is one of the most frequently used orthodontic products among dental consumables . There are four models, four lengths, and three categories.
