    Product Introduction 

    Distalizing Spring is integrally wound from multiple independent helical segments. Clinically, it can be cut into single segments for customized use, or used as a whole to deliver force over a longer distance. As a mainstream choice for open-coil push springs, it is used to correct dental malocclusions and works in conjunction with orthodontic materials like implant anchorage and orthodontic brackets during treatment.

    Usually made of superelastic nickel-titanium (NiTi) alloy, it is a core consumable in orthodontic treatment. Different models correspond to different force levels. It is available in 4 models and 2 lengths

    Working principle


     1. The spring is threaded onto the orthodontic archwire and positioned between brackets. When compressed, it continuously releases gentle pushing force to gradually move teeth toward the target position:

    2.In a compressed state: It delivers distal pushing force to open up spaces, distalize molars, and aid in the traction of impacted canines.

    3.Reverse-stretch version (closing spring): Designed to close extraction spaces by bringing the teeth together.

    Core Material & Performance Advantages

    Superelastic NiTi Alloy

    Featuring shape memory properties, it delivers continuous, gentle, and stable orthodontic forces within its stretching and compressing ranges. The force decays extremely slowly, allowing for extended intervals between clinical visits. Compared to stainless steel springs, it causes significantly less irritation to the periodontal tissues and is less likely to induce root resorption.

    Integrated Continuous Segmented Structure

    The entire spring consists of multiple helical segments connected in series, with each unit maintaining uniform dimensions. Clinicians can cut it into single segments based on the length of the dental space. Single segments are ideal for localized pushing of individual teeth, while multiple segments can be used together to open up spaces across the dental arch. This makes it highly adaptable to various clinical cases, including crowded teeth, impacted canines, and the expansion of extraction spaces.

    Synchronous Multi-Tooth Adjustment:

    Short segments can be used for localized fine-tuning, while long continuous springs can simultaneously adjust the spacing of multiple teeth, thereby simplifying complex orthodontic biomechanical treatment plans.
