The activation temperature ranges from 25℃ to 33℃. They tend to deform below 22℃ and can restore their original shape after being warmed up, which is its unique property. Working Principle
At room temperature, heat-activated archwires are extremely soft and flexible, easy to bend. This allows dentists to place them effortlessly into brackets of misaligned teeth. Once inside the oral cavity, the archwire senses body temperature around 37℃, gradually stiffens and returns to its preset arch form. During this process, it delivers continuous and gentle force to guide teeth to move into correct positions.
