Clinical practice
Clockwise Insertion: Lightly press and rotate 90–180° clockwise to engage the flutes into dentin, advancing steadily.
Counterclockwise Cutting: During counter‑rotation, apply light apical pressure, utilizing the reverse cutting edges for efficient dentin removal.
Cleaning & Withdrawal: Gently rotate counterclockwise about 1/4 turn to disengage the flutes, then withdraw by rotating clockwise while pulling outward, or pull out directly with continuous irrigation. Avoid downward clockwise rotation to prevent debris from being pushed into the apical foramen.
General Precautions: Maintain gentle manipulation, irrigate frequently, and recapitulate often to avoid binding that may cause file separation.
